Powers, Arlene R. age 87, of Blaine, MN, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2022 surrounded by her children.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Phillip Powers; parents, Harry and Edythe Huser; sister and brother-in-law, Claire and Lloyd Larson and sister, Eunice Meyer.
Arlene will be deeply missed by her children, Bob (Char) Powers, Bruce Powers, Rachel Sutherlin; grandchildren, Kellie (Dusty), Traci (Taylor), Dustin (Ceaira); great grandchildren, Gunnar and Georgia.
Arlene was born in Lester Prairie, MN and moved to Denver, CO after high school, where she and Phil met and married.
They moved to Blaine in 1962 where she made many dear friends. She retired from nursing at St. Joseph’s Hospital in 1996.
Funeral service 7 p.m., Thursday, May 26 at Coon Rapids United Methodist Church.
Visitation one hour prior to service. Dessert to follow service at church. Memorials may be made to MN Landscape Arboretum or Audubon Minnesota.
