Funeral Notice: Walter Nuest, 78

Walter (Wally) Nuest, 78 passed peacefully at home with his wife Kathi by his side on April, 29 2022.
Walter was born in Sparta, WI. After his service in the Army he came to Minneapolis to work at Milwaukee Railroad, where he worked for nearly twenty years.
Walter the worked at the Star Tribune for another nineteen years after retiring and moving to Cokato in 2012.
Walter was preceded in death by his son Tony, mother Eva Nuest and in-laws Ray and Marie Johnson.
Wally loved to garden, watch football, and visit with people. He always said, “There are no strangers just friends you haven’t met yet.”
A memorial gathering of family and friends will take place, Saturday June, 11 at our home from 1 to 5 p.m.
