DASSEL, MN – Fern Elvira Smith (Swanson), 100, of Minneapolis, and formerly of Dassel, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017. There will be a memorial service Thursday, May 4 at 11 a.m. at Salem Covenant Church, 2655 5th St. NW, New Brighton, MN 55112, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at the church, prior to the service. Interment will be at the Lake Jennie Cemetary, rural Dassel, at a later date.
