COKATO, MN – Melvin Russell Bjur, 93, of Howard Lake and Cokato, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018, at the Cokato Manor. A celebration of Mel’s life will take place Monday, May 7 at 11 a.m. at the Stockholm Lutheran Church, south of Cokato. There will be visitation Sunday, May 6 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home in Cokato, with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue Monday at the church, one hour prior to the service.
