INDEPENDENCE, MN – Anthony Joseph Merz, 54, of Independence, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 28, 2018. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 155 Co Rd 24, Medina. There will be visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church, prior to the Mass. Interment will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Arrangements are with the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
